About Castle Funerals

'Our family, caring for your family.'

At Castle Funerals, we understand the importance of family. A proudly Australian owned and independent family business, we have been providing dignified, professional service to Sydney and regional areas across NSW for over 50 years. We believe that every funeral should be a personal reflection of a loved one's life journey, and are committed to providing compassionate, personal care to families to arrange funerals to suit your needs and budget. We are able to provide funeral services for men, women and children of all cultures and religions.

Our founder, Ray Castle, took pride in offering unique, personalised care to every family as they grieve the loss of a loved one. We believe there is no such thing as a standard funeral, and aim to provide each family with a personal service to farewell their loved one with dignity and compassion.

Luke Ziegeler (Ray's Eldest Grandson) is now leading the team as the General Manager and Head Funeral Director, continuing Ray's legacy following his retirement in early 2018. Luke’s experience and background in the funeral industry spans over 15 years, having spent time as a casket maker and hearse driver before commencing his current position as a Funeral Director.
With a thorough knowledge and understanding of funeral services, Luke is able to offer guidance and advice to provide a service that is unique and dignified, with the utmost care and respect.

Luke takes pride in continuing the family business in the same manner as his grandfather, upholding the mission of "our family, caring for your family." His gentle and kind nature puts families at ease and simplifies what can often be a very difficult and emotional process.

It would be our privilege to serve your family in this difficult time.
